Being a regular at someone's dinner table shows relationship and the company at the table does impact how we see ourselves and the world around us. The first two kings of Israel had dramatically different tables as their hosts were dramatically different. One honored God and established God's will in the earth, while the other was about driven by fear and a desire that he would be established in the earth. One table will not stand. Mephibosheth was born into one table and invited into the table of the other. Today, we are invited to the table of the Most Righteous King. May we accept the invitation and be transformed.
